    …i read somehere that the early Christians eventually developed the ‘tradition’ of facing the East during prayer/devotions..the symbolism envolved with positioning oneself in the direction of the Sun rising in the East evidently meant something to some of them… i noticed that my prayer/meditation chair (by chance)does in fact face the East…i was cool and didnt know it.

    Bodies are buried with feet to the east so that at the new creation they may rise to the dawning sun.
