I had not thought to link the beard with Quakerism. For a long time I have felt homeless, neither Methodist nor Presbyterian anymore. Seeing myself as a Quaker has given me a home. And now I look the part too.
…The spiritual life is no less a voyage..we (those who seek) are explorers on an adventure, where the brave will have no “home”..many of us will become frightened and drop anchor, only to identify ourselves with a particular stop along the way,and thats OK..The hungry however will courageously venture on further, deeper into the Mystery..ever Questing to know the one true God,and Jesus Christ whom He has sent………..’the Kingdom of God is within you’
.. looks like the start of a Quaker beard alright… (sometimes refered to as a Pacifist beard)

You are looking great!
Furthermore, you have the look of someone who has “put away childish things”.

Thank you.
We did the bridgewalk in Morenci… it’s about 60 feet. Proceeds to the library.
The Morenci Bridgewalk makes me smile.
