Rubber Chickens and Bozo the Clown

I spent time today at Daybreak Adult Day Services. All the clients have become pumpkins on a bulletin board outside the front door. Inside I took part in a game throwing rubber chickens into a red Bozo the Clown bucket. I made three out of five. It made me smile.

    I think we should host a fall fair where all we do — dozens and dozens of people at once — is throw rubber chickens into red Bozo buckets. A cure for compassion fatigue???
