Delighted to Walk

I walked in the CROP Hunger Walk today to benefit the good work of Church World Service. I wanted to walk last year but had to step in at the last and staff the water station at Trestle Park. Actually, today was my first opportunity to walk in this event in years. I was out yesterday marking the route with signs, and I was feeling discouraged about our little walk, which we expected to be small this year because it is getting eclipsed by other walks and appeals for funding. But I was delighted to walk nonetheless today. I hope the money raised will multiply as the five loaves and two fish did.
