A Safe Neighborhood

A New Year’s Day morning walk in Oakwood Cemetery, which predates the Civil War. The founders of Adrian are buried here: Addison Comstock, his wife Sarah, and his father Darius. (Not the graves above, though.) Michigan governor Charles Croswell also rests here, with a state flag to mark the site. The cemetery is a safe neighborhood for winter walkers; the roads are kept plowed and there is no traffic, at least very little, since all the residents are dead.

Here is the view behind the camera.

A Happy New Year to all.

  2. Chris says:

I have been called a monk before but never yet a Coptic monk. A parishioner says the beard makes me look like a priest.

Art is by nature autobiographical. Your photos show us who you are, The last one – just what you look like.
